The ways of Tours and Vézelay, as well as the Dieppe route and the one that goes towards Mont Saint-Michel, cross one or more of the six departments of the Centre-Val de Loire region : Eure-et-Loir (Chartres), Loir-et-Cher (Vendôme or Blois), Loiret (Orléans), Indre-et-Loire (Tours), Cher (Bourges) et Indre (Chateauroux).
